Cookie Notice

This portal sets no cookies. It stores nothing on your device. It keeps no profile and runs no tracking of any kind. The bar at the foot of each page says the same thing on every sheet, so a reader never has to hunt for it.

What a cookie would be, and why there is none

A cookie is a small note a site places in your browser to remember a preference or follow you across visits. The desk needs none of that. The pages are plain documents; they do not ask your browser to remember anything between visits.

The one thing that does move

If you send a note through the contact sheet, the fields you filled in reach the desk so it can reply. That is the only data the desk receives, and it comes from your own choice to send it. The privacy policy sets out how it is held.

Your choice

Because no cookie is set, there is nothing to accept or decline. You can close the tab at any time and the desk holds nothing to forget. A browser setting that blocks cookies has no effect here, in either direction.

Questions

Questions about this notice go to [email protected] or through the contact sheet.

What a tracking tag would do

A tracking tag is a small element that reports a visit to a third party, so a profile can be built across many sites. It would let the desk count visits, follow a reader from page to page and match the reading to a broader habit. The desk wants none of that, so no such element sits on any page.

Why the desk skips it

The portal is a reference, not a shopfront. Its worth comes from a figure a reader can check, not from a count of visits. A profile would add a duty to guard it and a risk of losing it, with no gain to the engineering work. The desk therefore keeps the pages plain and holds nothing about a reader.

Browser settings

Because no cookie is set, a browser setting that blocks cookies changes nothing here. A reader who clears site data after a visit removes nothing, because nothing was written. A private window reads the same pages as a normal window, byte for byte.

If this ever changes

Should the desk ever need a first-party note to remember a reader choice, this page would say so first, name the note, state its lifespan and offer a clear way to decline. Until then, the position stays as stated: no cookies, no storage, no tracking.
